Baptisms

Baptism is the beginning of a child’s faith journey and life in Christian community. When families are planning to baptize a child, it is helpful if they are part of a congregation in which parents and child will regularly participate. If you are searching for a church home for your family, we encourage you to join us for worship on Sunday mornings.

Baptisms can be scheduled for most Sundays at either the 8:30 or 11 a.m. service, with the exception of Sundays in Lent. Please contact the church office to arrange a date. One of the pastors will contact you to talk about what it means to have your child baptized and the role that you and the church will have in honoring the promises made during baptism.

Weddings

Planning your wedding is exciting! We are eager to assist you in making your wedding a grace-filled beginning to your life together in Christ. The ceremony is a sacred event where the bride and groom pledge themselves to one another in the presence of God and a worshiping community.

Couples who desire to be married at Grace should contact the church office to hold a date on the calendar. The date will be confirmed only after speaking to one of the pastors. Generally at least six months are required between the initial marriage request and the wedding ceremony. Ordinarily couples planning to be married at Grace are already a part of this community of faith; non-members are invited and encouraged to worship with us in order to better understand our faith and mission. With the exception of the season of Lent, weddings may be scheduled throughout the year. Saturday is the preferred day of the week. Please contact the church office if you would like a copy of our wedding information booklet to learn more about planning a wedding a Grace.

Funeral planning

Church members should contact the church office or one of the pastors to make funeral or memorial service arrangements. Church members may keep funeral plans on file with the church office, if they wish. Contact one of the pastors if you’d like to pre-plan your funeral.

The Grace Memorial Garden is available for the interment of ashes of all Grace members and their immediate family members. A fee paid at the time of interment covers the cost of maintenance of the garden and the inscription of the name on the memorial wall. The church office has information about the memorial garden if you’re interested in learning more.
