Prayer of the Day
O God our shepherd, you know your sheep by name and lead us to safety through the valleys of death. Guide us by your voice, that we may walk in certainty and security to the joyous feast prepared in your house, through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

"Life Abundant"
John 10:1-10; Psalm 23
The thing about dark valleys is that you don’t know when they’ll end. A glint of light and a glimmer of hope go a long way. Darkness is much more bearable when we know dawn will soon break. We’re in a dark valley now. Death casts a long shadow. And we don’t know how long this pandemic will last, how far it will reach. We do not, however, walk through the valley as lost sheep. We follow the Good Shepherd, the One who lays down his life to give life to his sheep. The promise Jesus gives us is not one of a little life, just enough. The Shepherd promises abundance. Cups will overflow, leaving no room for death. Listen! The Shepherd calls today. Listen and follow him into a life of abundance on both sides of the grave.
