"Building Blocks"
John 14:1-14; 1 Peter 2:2-10
On the night before his death, Jesus tells his friends to not let their hearts be troubled, for in his Father’s house are many dwelling places. That sounds good! We might be feeling that we’ve seen enough of our current dwelling places, thanks to being sheltered in place. Our troubled hearts yearn for a better world in which to live together. Jesus, the stone that was rejected, becomes the cornerstone of the new creation. God is building the Kingdom upon the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. He invites us to join this work as we walk with Jesus, our Way; listen to Jesus, our Truth; and live through Jesus, our Life. Alive together in Christ, let us work together to build a better world upon Christ.
