Prayer of the Day
O God, overflowing with mercy and compassion, you lead back to yourself all those who go astray. Preserve your people in your loving care, that we may reject whatever is contrary to you and may follow all things that sustain our life in your Son, Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen.

"Get Lost!"
Luke 15:1-10
We have all felt the sting of unwelcome in our lives. From middle school lunch tables to the corporate ladder, the message is often that we’re not good enough. That we don’t belong. That we’re lost. All of the ways in which we exclude one another, all of the ways in which we bear the name “loser,” spring from the same source: sin. We are sinners, those who have willfully wandered away from God. Rather than demand we straighten up and fly right, however, God simply abandons everything else to come and find us. Each of us. All of us. Especially the losers, even you and me. And in the new Kingdom founded on Christ Jesus, there is no grumbling allowed at the table. Everyone is welcome for the simple reason that they were found by Jesus and seated and the table. You were lost. And now you’re not.

In our prayers we remember Hope for Grieving Children.

Report from the 2019 Slovakia Mission Team

In late June Grace members and staff again traveled to Martin, Slovakia, to teach VBS at the Center for Christian Education. Hear about their trip and the continuing mission of the CCE to bring Christianity to post-Cold War Slovakia. (Fellowship Hall)

The Grace Church Library is open and staffed on Sundays from 8:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Look for books related to Adult Ed topics as well as many other subjects. The library is also open for self-service during the week.
