    "I send you," Jesus says, "as sheep in the midst of wolves"; not just to a neighborhood of wolves, but "in the midst of wolves." At the heart of today's reading, is a simple question posed to us: to what wolf pack has Jesus sent you? To what hurting, ailing, broken, angry, hostile, hating, unjust, dying places is God in Christ calling us to proclaim some Good News?
